General Information
Coaching will be carried out
bi-weekly on the Castle Sports Field, Signing on will be near to the Castle
Sports Complex, unless there are other activities on the field in which case we
will use the BMX track and surrounding area.
All parents must sign a
parental consent form, and all riders must be members of Spalding Cycling Club.
Joining Spalding CC costs £10 per year. Each
coaching session cost £1.00. New
riders may have one free trial session. All money will go into club funds.
Riders should arrive in
plenty of time and be ready to go with a road worthy bike and safety helmet. It
is advisable to bring a healthy snack and plenty of fluids, water or squash not
fizzy drink.
On very rare occasions the
coaching sessions are cancelled due to inclement weather. Please check the web
site for up to date information.
The Spalding Go-ride race
league will take place at the end of each Go-ride session. You will be awarded
points for each race. All events will count. Awards will be given out at the
Club dinner at the end of the year.
